The thumb nail on my foot, has changed color and has become dry & britle. Any idea what this is, if so any rem

Sounds like onychomicosis. You need to take medication like Lamisil for months for this to clear up. You need to see your doctor about this. However, if you don't have insurance one of the home remedies that work is rubbing Vicks Vapo Rub into the affected toenail nightly. This will take longer to clear up but if you make it part of your nightly foot care, it will become routine. The eucalyptus in the vicks helps kill the fungus. Also tea tree oil is good for this too. Just depends on what you can afford. The thumb nail on my foot, has changed color and has become dry %26amp; britle. Any idea what this is, if so any rem
Sounds like fungus... Go to the doctorThe thumb nail on my foot, has changed color and has become dry %26amp; britle. Any idea what this is, if so any rem
Sounds like nail fungus. There is a prescription medication Lamisil, but it's really hard on your liver. Go see your doctor for any other options.
There is NO thumb nail on your foot. A thumb nail is on the thumb.
Could be eczema. Go to a dermatologist.
onychomycosis, fungal nail. Takes prescription meds to kill it, long time too.
It may be a fungal infection, ask your Dr about Lamisil
Take special precaution if you are a diabetic. Consult your doctor.
It is a fungal infection. You need to get an antibiotic from your Dr. If you don't feel like going to your doc then try soaking your foot in Listerine. If the infection isn't very bad then that will clear it up. Good luck.
its an infection of the nail bed. talk to your doctor about antibiotics
Your first issue is that you have a thumb on your foot. Can I see it?
