Are french nails a good idea?

I have heard that getting french nails kills the nail underneath, if that is true is it worth the risk?Are french nails a good idea?
i had my nails frenched but nothing happened to them

I have them right now, and they're awesome, except for the fact they fall off alot.


but if you force the nail off, youll tear a layer of your nail underneath. JUst use proper removal procedure and you real nails will be fine=)
it does kill the underlayer of the nail but that depends on whos nails it is mine they really don't bother and i love the look of them.

then yes, it damages your nails.


it's like shaving, once you start, you can;t really stop.


but if you grow your nails out, and do it yourself. or just get a manicure on it.
